Alexis was a collegiate heptathlete. She won the Middle Atlantic Conference pentathlon and heptathlon events numerous times and was named Middle Atlantic Conference Female Field Athlete of the Year three years in a row. Winning the Eastern College Athletic Conference Regional Championship in the heptathlon was another victory for Alexis.  She qualified for NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships in the heptathlon for two years in a row. She was name Middle Atlantic Century team which recognized her as the top female athlete from her university within the past 100 years.

Competing in over 5 NPC Bodybuilding competitions, Alexis has a high level of training in the bodybuilding sector. She has competed in the NPC Bikini and Wellness Division. In 2020, she competed in the first Arnold Wellness NPC Division show and placed Top 10.
